Do you have an idea for a project that could benefit your local area?
North Somerset Council has joined forces with specialist crowdfunding provider Spacehive to bring forward an exciting new funding opportunity for projects that improve local places.
‘Crowdfund North Somerset’ enables residents and local businesses, organisations and groups to post their project ideas on a dedicated North Somerset platform created by Spacehive and invite individuals, businesses, grant funders and others to pledge funding towards the project.
Following a successful launch attended by more than 50 people at The Stable in Weston-super-Mare, the council is now running a series of community workshops. These free workshops aim to help people to refine their project ideas and develop them into crowdfunding campaigns.
