Part of a main road through Weston-super-Mare is due to be resurfaced this month.

Locking Road in Weston-super-Mare will be closed overnight from 7pm to 6am, starting on Monday (11 September) for two weeks.

During the first week crews will carry out repairs to the kerbs, clean the gullies and resurface the pavements, ready for the road to be resurfaced the following week. There will be no works during the weekend and the road will be made safe to use.

The closure will be in place in both directions between the junctions with Hutton Moor Road and Earlham Grove.
