In 2015, North Somerset schools achieved 4.7% higher than the national GCSE average for A*-C in English and mathematics.

The initial results for this year show a further 2.6% improvement in North Somerset as 63.1% of students achieved an A*-C in English and mathematics combined compared to 60.5% in 2015.
