The Police have reported a sharp increase in antisocial behaviour in Weston town centre in the past year.
Police statistics have also shown an increase in violent offences in the area.

Councillor Robert Payne said: “Our local police are working hard, but are having to do so with a lot fewer officers and resources than a decade ago.

“The Tories promised to protect the police front line, but instead they’ve taken thousands of bobbies off the beat and left communities exposed.

“By cutting things like our youth service and reducing drug and alcohol support and prevention, the Tories have created the conditions in which crime can thrive, leaving people more vulnerable to violence and harm.”
