Commuters are being asked for their views on how they travel to work.
The Travel to Work Survey is the largest commuting survey in the UK and is open to both businesses and individuals.
The survey takes five minutes to complete online and includes questions about modes of travel, the distances of journeys and how satisfied commuters are.
Prizes are available to people taking part.
The survey enables businesses to keep an accurate record of how staff travel to work, manage their staff car parking and monitor company travel trends year on year. It also allows businesses to support sustainable travel and to help reduce congestion and improve air quality.
Businesses should pre-register at www.travelwest.info/preregistration by Monday 4 February to receive a personalised business report about their staff travel, to add their own travel questions and receive a unique web link to disseminate to staff. Individuals do not need to pre-register and can just complete the survey when it opens on Monday 11 March.
The findings of the survey are used to attract investment and help target spending on new public transport services, which are needed to meet commutes for the 82,500 new jobs expected to be created in the West of England by 2036.
The survey received over 18,000 responses across the West of England area last year, which were used to help make transport improvements.
The survey will be open until Sunday 17 March.
