Aged 11 – 18 and want your voice heard?

Weston-super-Mare Youth Council need more members.

If you are aged 11 – 18 and live in Weston-super-Mare then this could be the opportunity for you! Youth Councillors have the opportunity to represent the young people’s view on events and provision for all young people in Weston-super-Mare and to use their energy to effect change in a way that they believe in.

The work of the Youth Council and Youth Councillors has worked in the past to achieve for young people: Barcode Youth Café, Hutton Moor Skate park, Talent competitions and the Youth Guide.

Young people involved in the Youth Council can expect to gain experience of decision-making and planning, learn about democratic process, improve their advocacy, communication and teamwork skills and have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to their local community.

If you are interested in becoming involved, or would like to recommend a young person you think may be suitable and interested please contact:
