Councillor Mike Bell writes: “I’ve reported gulley and gutter problems around Clarence Park and Ellenborough Park again today. The lack of routine maintenance of gulleys leaves the roads looking a mess and standing water and flooding every time it rains.”

Hi, I’m so glad to read that you have reported problems with drainage. For the past 3 years I have been on to the council regarding this matter in Swiss Road. They have come back with every excuse possible why this has not yet been seen to. I have thick black filthy water outside my home, it is disgusting.
No wonder there is no community pride for the area as the council cant and won’t even upkeep basic cleaning. That’s without the state of the pavements and roads.
