Recycling and waste collection days will change slightly over the festive period to allow for bank holidays. Check your calendar online at https://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/my-services/waste/rubbish-collections/collection-days-from-june-2018/ to make sure you put the right bins out on the correct day.

All collections will return to normal on Monday 13 January.

*Garden waste will not be collected between Monday 23 December and Friday 17 January so that extra vehicles can be used to collect excess festive recycling.
If you’re signed up to the garden waste service then your real Christmas tree – up to two meters tall and minus the decorations and pot – will be collected from the kerbside on your usual collection day between Monday 20 and Friday 31 January. Christmas trees can also be taken to one of the area’s three recycling centres and put into the garden waste skip.

*Christmas is the busiest time for collection crews…
Due to extra waste created, you might see a different recycling vehicle. Before and after Christmas and New Year, please do not overload our vehicles or crews. Put excess materials from festive parties, internet deliveries and Christmas clear-ups out over time or take them all to a recycling site.
