New service launching to help North Somerset residents access support

North Somerset Council would like to encourage more residents to look for information on their website and report any missed waste collections, and order new and replacement bins etc through MyAccount.
MyAccount also provides residents with a wide range of other functionality: managing council tax, applying for benefits and reporting many litter, potholes and other issues.
Cllr Mike Bell says: “What do you think about the council’s online services? Do they work for you? What is good and not so good about the system?

Black bin collection missed 2 weeks ago
Could not report on Web site as it would not let me
First it stated collection that should have been collected Thursday was still on going even on the Friday at 9 pm
Tried on Saturday it stated no collection were due in our road with in the last 2 day’s even though whole on road missed ( Langport road)
After 3 telephone conversations and promise that my complaint was being exsculated
They final arrived on Tuesday morning!
So no way on line let me notify missed collection but perhaps that is done on purpose to give good statistics!!
