Tickets go on sale this week for sessions at Icescape, the UK’s largest ice rink which will be at the Tropicana this winter.

This exciting new festive destination, run by event specialists Icescape, also has Santa’s grotto and an igloo bar, so there is something on offer for all the family. The giant snow slide will get even the most non-competitive of friends and family racing to the finish and the festive food stalls and fairytale carousel will make this event a truly magical experience.

The British weather certainly won’t dampen any spirits as the ice rink will be covered with a fairy-light marquee canopy that twinkles above! The Icescape rapid freeze, real-ice technology provides a smooth ice surface, which guarantees the highest standard skating experience. With Pippen the penguin and friends available to hire as skating aids for the under 8s, it really is accessible to the whole family.

Icescape @ The Tropicana on the seafront at Weston-Super-Mare has great links to the M5 and offers free parking for online bookings in a designated seafront car park. The train station only a 10-minute walk away and trains to Bristol Temple Meads run every half an hour … it’s a winter event not to be missed!

Opening on Friday 3 November, Icescape runs until Sunday 7 January next year and to avoid disappointment advance booking is advisable!
