by mikebell on 30 March, 2017

The Reaper bar at The Tropicana will play host to The Leylines when they visit Weston as part of their spring tour. The gig will be on Saturday 1 April and doors open from 7pm. And on Saturday 15 April AC/DC tribute act Hells Bells will be playing. Doors open at 7pm. For more information and to buy tickets visit the bar’s website.

The spring/summer season of theatre performances kicks off at The Tropicana in April.

Shows include:

Shackleton – “A fun and memorable musical tale of one man and his dog as they rediscover the thrills of adventure.” For children aged four years and older, 2pm on Sunday 9 April.

We Are Bronte – “Taking the real and fictitious worlds of Yorkshire’s literary siblings as their inspiration, two performers combine rigorous physical theatre with anarchic comedy to deconstruct not only gothic themes of love, madness and revenge, but also themselves.” For ages 10 and upwards, 7.30pm on Thursday 27 April.

Two Four Six Eight – “Craig has been invited to his best friend’s birthday party. There is an invitation to read, presents to wrap, cakes to buy and a house to find. Who will explain the rules of musical chairs? Will there be enough balloons?” For children aged four years and older, 2pm on Sunday 30 April.

More information is available on the Tobacco Factory website and the Tropicana Weston Facebook page.
